Functions of the Faculty Board
- To draw up the report on the teaching capacity and forecast needs of the Centre for the following academic year, taking into account the social demand for its teaching.
- Drawing up the Regulations of the Centre and its modifications, submitting them to the Governing Board for approval and subsequent ratification by the University Council.
- The election or revocation of the Dean in accordance with current regulations and these Statutes.
- To be informed of the appointment of the governing bodies of the Centre.
- To advise the Dean and, where appropriate, the governing bodies of the Centre.
- To approve the Annual Activities Report.
- To issue reports on matters that require the agreement of the Governing Board and that affect the Centre.
- To propose the official Study Plan of the Centre as well as its reform.
- To formulate, annually and before the start of the academic year, the Centre's Teaching Plan within the framework of each Study Plan, requesting the necessary resources from the Departments.
- To propose, following a report from the Departments concerned, the creation of Degrees and Diplomas and the conditions for obtaining them and the corresponding Study Plan.
- To report on teaching staff needs, in accordance with its teaching organisation plans and the proposals of the Departments.
- To formulate the needs of the Centre with regard to the Administration and Services Staff.
- The formalisation of collaboration agreements with public or private entities.
- To propose the awarding of prizes and distinctions.
- Approving the preliminary draft budget of the Centre and determining the distribution of the budgetary funds allocated to it.
- To draw up an annual report on the efficiency of the Administration and services on the basis of surveys carried out among lecturers and students.
- Any others attributed to it by the Statutes and current regulations.
